Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 we can only charge permitted payments. Here is what a tenant pays, with nothing hidden.
Permitted payments
- Holding deposit Max 1 week's rent
- Tenancy deposit (rent under £50,000/yr) Max 5 weeks' rent
- Tenancy deposit (rent £50,000/yr or more) Max 6 weeks' rent
- First month's rent In advance
- Changes to the tenancy (if you request) Capped at £50 inc VAT
- Late rent / lost keys Reasonable costs, evidenced
